About Us
Centre for Productivity and Sustainability Analysis (CPSA) has been founded in 2024 to further research and dissemination activities. The primary focus of the research activities is the intersection of economics and sustainability science. CPSA seeks to become a research hub for researchers engaged in research on economic performance and sustainability at micro and macro levels.
CPSA fosters fundamental research with focus on sustainability. This allows to further knowledge in the area without hurdles of institutional barriers that may appear in case of specialised research institutions. We believe that the knowledge and networking activities related to fundamental research are also instrumental for high-quality applied research.
Researchers at the CPSA are open to collaboration in research activities, including research projects with focus on sustainability and productivity analysis. The European Union region is the focal one, yet CPSA staff also have expertise on international economy and developing markets.
CPSA has also initiated publication of an interdisciplinary journal, Transformations and Sustainability. The journal welcomes publications with strong connection between economics and sustainability. The journal is expected to become an international outlet allowing to advance knowledge on the economic decisions leading towards sustainability-oriented transformation.
Director of the CPSA is Dr Tomas Baležentis.
